Hotel review: Beaulac

Check-in. The humans signed papers. I did the real work: window, chair, window again. Lake: large. Boats: plenty. One seagull flew past like it owned the place. It does not. I do.

Hallway stroll, on a leash, like a dignitary. Found a vase worth more than my humans. Stood next to it for a photo. Did not push it off the table. You’re welcome, Beaulac. Next time, maybe.
Dinner on the 7th floor at Waves, the rooftop sushi bar. A restaurant where people watch fish get prepared in front of them. Finally, humans who understand my hobby. The salmon brochette arrived. Some of it arrived in me.

Back in the room: checked under the bed for monsters (none, disappointing), did the night shift at the window, then took the bed. Both halves. The humans slept in the margins. Rating: five stars. The lake can stay.
