Coffice hours

Today I got a job. Well, a desk. Coffice is a co-working café in Neuchâtel, started by bitcoin people, which explains the QR code on the wall that says “support us”. I supported them by sitting very still.

I was given a corner office: a marble table, a pink glass cubicle with ventilation, and a view of the humans’ empty cappuccinos. I attended my first meeting. It was with myself. It went well.

Then I read the menu. Espresso, matcha, Chasselas, “formule au temps” at seven francs an hour. Nourriture: croissant, cookie, croque-monsieur. Fish: none. Not even in crypto.
